Malibu Beach Towel with Bag - Aqua Blue

When I lived in India (which I've done twice), flat-weave towels were the standard way to dry off after bathing. I remember being initially skeptical, but they worked so well that I wondered why in the U.S. we opt for heavy-looped terry that takes freakin' forever to dry. Plus, plush towels at the beach are sand magnets. So I was happy to give this recycled-cotton Turkish towel a test run. First, although the pattern is not woven into the fabric, the printing is quality and lovely. I dig the psychedelic, op-art aesthetic. But how well does the towel dry—after all, that's the test, right? It's terrific, rapidly lapping up the water from my skin. Also, the flat weave means this towel dries in a flash. I will not only use this towel for trips to the river during the summer (and to the beach when I'm on vacation) , but I will also use it as a post-dip sarong for lounging around. Plus I will also be taking it to outdoor concerts and picnics. The matching bag is a bonus! Yay for well-made, functional, and beautiful things!

I really like this towel. It is very thin and light but it does a great job of drying you off and absorbing the water. We are a long, long way from a beach to try it out and check the sand free part of it but I used it when getting out of our hot tub last night and it worked great, way better than the thick oversized blanket towel I bought at a big box retailer. The giant size of this towel makes it feel like you are wrapping up in a robe.

This is a really nice picnic or beach "blanket", but just be sure you read the description which IS accurate. The fabric is like a cotton tablecloth (could very easily be used as such). I LOVE this as I walk to the beach and I'm also fanatical about picnics in local parks, so this light "ground shield" is perfect...and huge. So much nicer than the typical "spreading beach towels out" ceremony (ha!), or lugging a heavy spare blanket to a park. It's really beautiful as is the bag to carry it. Note: I ordered the mint green...it's actually a pale SAGE green which I was hoping for.

This Turkish beach towel it so beautiful. It’s a frat towel for use anywhere. It’s extra long and nice a d wide. It’s extremely lightweight and came with a matching carry bag. One of the nicest beach towels I have. It travels well because it is lightweight and compact. It also dries quickly. Love it. ❤️

Pick it up, shake it out and the sand goes away - all you bring home is the towel! I really like how easy it is to fold up and put in the matching bag. It's really great if you're taking it on a trip - it won't add much to your other packing. Add to that the soft coral color and the pretty design and you've got a real winner.
