Set of 6 Wooden Cooking Utensils - White

This is a really nice set to have in the kitchen. All of them are sturdy and well made.

My only problem with these “utensils” is that they’re only 12 inches long. I realize almost all kitchen utensils are that same length, but the kitchen utensils I’ve clung to, despite their ancient age, are all 2-4 inches longer.

I have ceramic-coated cast iron cookware, and the instructions say don’t use metal utensils because they could scratch or chip the ceramic. So when I saw these, I knew they would be the perfect solution, because of the variety! They are made from acacia wood, which is in the Bible—the ark was made of acacia wood and overlaid with gold, when Solomon had the temple built. That is really good wood. I have some cutting boards made from that, and they last. The grain is beautiful to look at. I love the slick white handles, also, and the fact that these are made in India.👍 These are so fine, they could actually be given as a gift. I highly recommend!

This is a really nice set. Make sure to wash them first!! I made the mistake of just doing a quick wash, and when I went to use the spoon with holes in it when cooking pasta, it put a whole bunch of tiny wood particles in the water and coloured the water the same colour of the wood. So make sure to really scrub these before use. I haven't had an issue since using them. Just keep that in mind when you first get them.

These are a beautiful addition to my kitchen tools. They are really well-designed. Several of the tools have both a rounded edge and a squared-off edge - making it easy to get into the edges of your pots while you're stirring. The latex coating makes handling the tools a pleasure. Beautiful, functional - what more could I ask for?
